Correcting mistakes

Correcting the correct way is exceedingly important for increasing your score.

Correct way to learn from your mistakes:

  1. When correcting and scoring your test, circle all the problems you missed without marking what the correct answer choices were

  2. Attempt to solve correctly all the problems you missed without regard to time

  3. Correct again, but this time mark what the correct answer choices were

  4. At each step you should be really trying to understand why you made each mistake, and whether and how you can avoid making the same mistake in the future. Bring to our session only problems you don't understand after following the corrections process above

  5. Save your test papers so that you can review your mistakes again in the future. This is useful for the following types of problems, among others: vocabulary questions in reading, grammar questions in writing, and all math problems
